Boy, I have a lot to catch you up on!

I sure do have a lot to tell you, but with only a minute to spare, I wanted to let you know of another first. Harrison wet his bed for the first time last night!! So we are breaking out the sheet savers to help keep the mess from happening again...maybe...if they work. He was so pitiful when he woke up this morning. Poor little guy!

More to come!

6 months monkey pictures

It's getting harder to get a picture of him with his monkey without him trying to play with it!

Bath Time

Here is a little video from bathtime on Monday. We strategically placed the washcloth to keep it from becoming kiddie porn!

Pictures from Miss Carissa

Carissa, Harrison's fabulous sitter, sent me these pictures. They are so cute!! She is a great photographer.

More 5 month pictures...

Here are Harrison's 5 month pictures with his monkey from Aunt Ashley. I put one of his one month monkey pictures in there so you can see how much he has changed.

Yeah, yeah

I know it is a little late, but here are Harrison's five month pictures. He's getting old enough to try to eat the sign...

Deranged Bunny

We love the movie "A Christmas Story". For any of you who have not seen it, put it on your list of movies to rent. One of the funniest parts is when Ralphie's aunt sends him a big, ugly bunny costume for Christmas. He HATES wearing it, but his mother insists that he put it on. Well, I bought a cute "Baby's first Easter" outfit for Harrison. It has a little bunny tail on the butt. I also got some bunny ears for him to wear (they were on the dollar aisle at Target and they are SO cute). Jason was appalled that I was going to actually make Harrison wear them. But yesterday, before we went to have his pictures taken, Harrison tried on several outfits to 1)be sure they fit and 2)to take sample pictures to see how they looked in photos. I couldn't resist putting on the bunny ears and outfit. Well, you can see how Harrison felt about it. Jason told Harrison when he got home (he was gone while I did all this) that anytime I put him in that outfit, he had permission to cry. To spite what he says, I think it is cute!

Yummy Feet

Harrison LOVES to eat his feet. In fact, last Tuesday we went to a Pancake Supper at church. Harrison's friend Ethan (who is two weeks younger than him) was there. The two of them spent some time talking after dinner. After their conversation was over, Harrison decided that Ethan's feet also looked good enough to eat, so he did! It was hilarious. I hate we didn't have a camera, but trust me, it was cute.

Fun with Daddy

On Valentine's Day, when I was a sick puppy, Jason took Harrison to run errands so I could get some sleep. It made me sad to send them away and not be going with them, but I sure did enjoy my 4 hour nap! Jason picked out Harrison's outfit and it was a super cute one!

First, they went to the Hardware Store to say hello and pick up a few things. Harrison had a good time seeing all the sweet folks who work there, and they seemed to enjoy oogling over him.

Next, off to Costco! There, they picked up a few things and ran into several people we knew. The most notable person they saw was our Senator Richard Burr. Jason ran into him in the dog food aisle! Their conversation went something like this:
J: Hello Senator!
RB: Hi!
J: Thank you for voting against the stimulus package.
RB: You are welcome. I am sorry that I wasn't successful. Wait until you read it. It will make you sick.
J: Well, most of your colleagues didn't read it!
RB: (snicker)
J: Have a good day!

Harrison's first brush with greatness! I don't know who had a better time-Harrison or Jason! It was a very special day with Daddy.

6 Month Portraits

I only have a minute but I wanted to share some of the 6 month pictures we had taken of Harrison yesterday. SO CUTE! I will post more later, but these are the 4 that we ordered. There are lots more cute ones though, so stay tuned! PS-We did cut his hair yesterday before we went to get pictures! I used Harrison's Great-Great Grandfather Harrison's barber scissors and Jason held him still. How cool is that??
