Guess who needs a haircut!?? Yes, these are real and have not been retouched. And if you remember, we already cut his hair twice!!

Sorry we have been a little MIA lately. Harrison was sick and then me, but now we are all better!!!

Sick baby!

Yesterday, we navigated that pediatrician's weekend phone system and ended up at the dr's office about 11:30. Harrison has a double ear infection and pink eye! The real reason I went was his eye looked so bad so you can imagine my surprise when Dr. Walker told me that my seemingly not-so-sick baby was really sick! All he did yesterday was cry and sleep. I went to the store for triple coupons, and while i was gone, Jason asked Harrison (who was crying), "You just need your momma, don't you?", and he swears he answered, "Uh-huh!" He seems to already be much better thank goodness!

Calling Harrison Out

Well, I know he is a baby and can't help it and all, but I am going to call Harrison out. Tonight, we went to Rob and Trish's house to watch the Super Bowl. As soon as we got there, we starting chowing down on wings and Kara's guac. YUM! But while we were busy eating, Harrison got busy too! He pooped everywhere! He was sitting in his car seat on a blanket to keep the straps from poking him, and he pooped all over his clothes AND the blanket. YUCK! Trish picked him up, and he got poop all over her too! Then, we went to change his diaper, I was trying to get his clothes off and he rolled off the changing pad and got poop all over Rob and Trish's dining room table cloth! To top it off, apparently he has had several blowouts lately and I haven't stayed on top of stocking the diaper bag, so we had no clothes for him. Luckily, Megan had some baby doll clothes that fit him. So yes friends, those are pink pants he is wearing. After laughing at it all, we settled in and watched 2 1/2 more quarters of the game. He looked really funny riding home in his carseat, bare arms sticking out, with a hat on his head. We are learning to take things like this in stride and laugh-it's all you can do!!!

Lunch at the Byerlys

On the 18th, we went to lunch at Jason's godparents' house. IT WAS AMAZING!! When I grow up :) I want to cook 1/2 as well as Jeanette does.

Another first

On the 22nd, Harrison decided to take matters into his own hands and started holding his bottle. This morning, I was running late but that turned out to be a good thing because I got to witness this first. I quickly grabbed the camera to be sure to get a few pictures of this cute first. He doesn't do it all the time, and he is better at holding the 4 oz bottles than the 8 oz, but hey-it's progress!

Movin' and Groovin'

Harrison is officially a mover and a shaker. When we went to wake him up on the morning of the 22nd, we discovered that he had been very busy. He had turned 180 degrees in the crib, gotten out of his swaddle AND the sleep positioner. How did he do that? So, he can no longer have ANYTHING in his crib (you can see we even took out the bumper before this all happened--I love that bumper...). He is not happy about it, but he will get used to it (I HOPE!).
