Birthday part one

So apparently I took the month of September off from the blog. By accident, of course! We have been busier than normal it seems. School is very hectic (starting a new school is harder than I thought!), and we have had lots of fun things to do on the weekends. (More on that later.) I apologize to all 3 of you who read this (haha) and I promise to be better. So my first step is to start posting birthday pictures! Harrison started his celebration off on Friday (his actual birthday). We had a special 1st birthday shirt for him to wear, and he looked so cute! It was a little big (what isn't these days...) but he actually kept it on and dirt-free all day!


After work, he got to open his first birthday present, which was from Gagy and Pop. It was a cute train with blocks. Then, he had pizza for the first time and loved it (he really did to spite the look on his face in this first picture).
Gagy made some cupcakes for him, and tried as we did, he had no interest in them at all. We hoped that he would develop a sweet tooth between Friday and his party on Sunday, but no such luck. In fact, I tried to show him how yummy it was. I picked some cupcake off his tray, ate it, and said, "See how good it is?". He promptly grabbed a handful and offered it to me as if to say, "If you like it, then you eat it Mommy." At least he looked cute while he did it!
