Air conditioning really is a luxury...

...as I have found in the past day or so. When I noticed yesterday that the thermostat setting and the temperature showing on the thermostat were about 5 degrees apart AND it was blowing out warm air, I immediately notified Jason. "Houston, I think we have a problem!" He dashed home to crawl up in the scuttle hole to complete the diagnosis-the AC is out! Luckily, we have two units, but the one upstairs (where we sleep) is the one that it is out. Right now, it is a balmy 81 degrees up here, which is why I came to post on the blog before it got too much hotter up here. They are supposed to be coming today to try to fix it, and I hope they can. It is times like this that I am so thankful for our home warranty. With a home that is starting to get some years on it, I am happy to know that if we need a new unit, they will pick up the tab. To everyone who does not have a home warranty, I would definitely recommend it.
